So, what is Meta Pixel?

Meta Pixel is a piece of code that you embed in to the header of your website that lets you measure, optimise and build audiences for your ad campaigns. It's essentially an analytics tool that allows you to measure the effectiveness of your advertising by understanding the actions that people take on your website.

How to set it up.

If you have access to your website's code, you can easily add the Meta pixel yourself once you have installed the pixel.

Copy the code and simply paste this on to all pages of your website and then add 'Standard Events' to the pixel code on the pages of your website , such as your book now or sign up pages.

How does it work?

Once it's set up the pixel will activate once someone takes an action on your website. The actions taken by the user are then captured and you can then view these on your Meta business page in Events Manager. You'll also have the option to reach your community again through future paid ads by retargeting those who have interacted with your website previously.
